Tata Power ke shares mein 6% tak ka boost September 10 ko dekha gaya jab company ne announce kiya ki uski ek subsidiary unit ne Tamil Nadu ke Tirunelveli mein India ke sabse bade single-location per solar cell ka commercial production shuru kiya. Ye step domestic solar cells aur modules ki manufacturing ko boost karega, jo sunlight ko electricity mein convert karne ke liye zaroori hote hain.
TP Solar, jo Tata Power Renewable ki subsidiary hai aur Tata Power Company ke under aati hai, ne 2GW solar cell line ke commercial production ka announcement kiya. Ye advanced facility Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu mein bani hai, aur ye India ka sabse bada solar cell aur module plant hai, company ne regulatory filing mein bataya.
Is time plant ki solar cell production capacity 2 GW hai, jo Tata Power ko high-quality aur domestically produced solar components ki demand ko poora karne mein madad karegi, khaaskar large-scale projects ke liye. Tata Power ne bataya ki plant 4-6 weeks mein apni remaining 2 GW capacity ko bhi add karega, jisse production peak par pahuch jayegi. Isse pehle, plant ne successfully solar modules ka production shuru kiya tha.
Tirunelveli plant mein total 4.3 GW ki cell aur module manufacturing capacity hai. October 2023 mein module production line commission hui thi aur ab tak 1,250 MW solar modules banaye ja chuke hain. Facility mein TOPCon aur Mono Perc jaise advanced technology ka use hota hai, jo solar cells aur modules ke high-efficiency production mein madad karti hai.
Tata Power ne is facility ke liye
lagbhag Rs 4,300 crore ka commitment diya hai. Tamil Nadu plant mein bane solar cells aur modules shuru mein company ke khud ke projects ko cater karenge, jisse supply chain aur strong hogi. Tata Power future expansion ko dekhte hue wider market distribution ke opportunities bhi explore kar raha hai.
1:55 pm par Tata Power ke shares 5.8% higher, Rs 442.10 par trade kar rahe the National Stock Exchange (NSE) par. Is saal ab tak stock 33% ka gain de chuka hai, jo Nifty ke 16% returns ko outperform kar raha hai. Pichle 12 months mein counter 62% tak upar gaya hai, jabki Nifty is period mein 29% bada.
