PM Modi aur US President Joe Biden ne dono deshon ke beech defence partnership ko lekar mahatvapurn charchayein ki. Yeh baatcheet US ke Delaware state mein Quad Summit ke dauran hui, jisme drones ke procurement aur joint military exercises per focus raha.
President Biden ne Bharat ke 31 General Atomics MQ-9B drones (16 Sky Guardian aur 15 Sea Guardian) ko procure karne ke faisle ka swagat kiya. Yeh drones Bharat ki armed forces ke intelligence, surveillance aur reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities ko mazboot banayenge. Yeh drones advanced hai aur inka istemal Bharat ki navy, air force aur army mein hoga.
Biden ne kaha, “US aur Bharat ke beech partnership kabhi itni mazboot nahi rahi jitni aaj hai. Har baar jab hum milte hain, naye cooperation ke areas milte hai, aur aaj bhi kuch alag nahi tha.”
Februari mein US ne Bharat ko 31 MQ-9B drones bechne ki manzoori di thi, jiska estimated cost $3.99 billion hai. 15 Sea Guardian drones Indian Navy ko milenge, jabki 8 Sky Guardian drones Indian Air Force aur Army ko diye jayenge. MQ-9B Predator drones ke khaasiyat mein iska stealth mode shamil hai, jo bina pata chale 250 meter ki uchayi se operate kar sakte hai aur 50,000 feet ki uchayi tak ur sakte hain.
Dono netaon ne 2023 mein shuru hua India-US Defense Acceleration Ecosystem (INDUS-X) initiative ke tehet defence cooperation ki tareef ki. Yeh initiative dono deshon ke defence collaboration ko ek naye star per le ja raha hai.
Kolkata mein semiconductor fab unit banne wala hai
PM Modi aur Biden ne Kolkata mein ek naye semiconductor fabrication plant ki sthapna per bhi charcha ki. Yeh plant advanced sensing, communication, aur power electronics technologies par kaam karega jo national security, telecom aur green energy applications ke liye mahatvapurn hoga.
Yeh fab Bharat Semiconductor Mission ke tehet banaya jayega, aur Bharat ke Bharat Semi, 3rdiTech, aur US Space Force ke strategic partnership ke saath milkar isse tayar kiya jayega. GlobalFoundries Kolkata Power Center chip manufacturing mein R&D ko badhawa dega aur AI, IoT, connected vehicles jaise naye technologies ko promote karega.
297 Indian antiquities wapas milegi
Baatcheet ke dauran, PM Modi ne 297 anmol Bharatiya antiquities ke wapsi par President Biden ka dhanyavaad kiya. Modi ne kaha ki yeh kadam cultural ties ko mazbooti dene ke saath cultural properties ke illicit trafficking ke khilaf ladai mein bhi madad karega. Pichle mahine Bharat aur US ne apni pehli agreement sign ki thi jo illegal trafficking ko rokega aur antiques ko wapas apne desh laayega.
Global Institutions aur Ukraine per charcha
President Biden ne global institutions mein sudhar ke liye Bharat ke support ka samarthan kiya, jisme UN Security Council mein Bharat ki permanent membership ko support karna shamil hai. Saath hi, unhone Ukraine ke prati Bharat ke shanti sandesh aur humanitarian support ke liye bhi PM Modi ki prashansa ki.
PM Modi ka US daura
PM Modi apne teen din ke US daure par hain jisme wo India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership ko aur mazboot karne ke liye kai mahatvapurn meetings kar rahe hain. New York mein Modi UN General Assembly ke ‘Summit of the Future’ ko address karenge, Long Island mein ek Indian community event mein bhi shamil honge, aur AI, quantum computing, aur semiconductor technologies par kaam karne wale American CEOs ke saath ek round table discussion bhi attend karenge.
