Madhya Pradesh government ne decide kiya hai ki government-aided Madrasas ke khilaf action liya jayega jo students ko bina unki ya unke guardians ki consent ke religious education ya worship attend karwa rahe hain.

National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) ke repeated communications aur recommendations ke baad, Commissioner Shilpa Gupta ne Friday ko detailed order issue kiya.

Iss order ke according, physical inspection aur verification ki jaayegi sabhi government-aided Madrasas mein yeh ensure karne ke liye ki koi bhi Madrasa Article 28(3) of the Constitution of India ko violate nahi kar raha.

Article 28(3) ke according, “Koi bhi vyakti jo State dwara recognized educational institution ko attend karta hai ya State funds se aid receive karta hai, usse kisi bhi religious instruction mein hissa lene ya religious worship attend karne ke liye nahi kaha jayega bina us vyakti ya agar vyakti minor hai to uske guardian ke consent ke.”

Friday ke order mein yeh bhi kaha gaya ki recognized government-aided Madrasas aur unke relevant records ki physical verification aur inspection ki jayegi yeh ensure karne ke liye ki koi student fraudulently government grants ke liye enroll nahi hua hai.

Commissioner (DPI) Shilpa Gupta ne bataya ki yeh action statewide NCPCR ke communication aur news reports ke baad liya ja raha hai jo government-recognized/aided Madrasas ke non-Muslim students ko fraudulently register karne ke baare mein thi. NCPCR ne state government ko bhi likha tha ki non-Muslim students ko bina unke parents ya guardian ki consent ke religious education aur prayers attend karne ke liye force kiya ja raha hai.
