AIIMS Delhi ne Mpox virus ke suspected patients ko handle karne ke liye Tuesday ko ek protocol issue kiya. ANI ke mutabiq, AIIMS ne ek standard operating procedure (SOP) jari kiya jo emergency department mein Mpox cases ko manage karne ke liye zaroori steps deta hai.
Ye statement WHO ke Mpox virus ko international concern aur public health emergency declare karne ke baad aaya hai.
AIIMS ne directive diya hai ke agar kisi patient mein fever, rash ya confirmed Mpox case ke contact ka history ho, toh unko turant assess kiya jaye. Medical staff ko fever, headache, muscle aches, back pain, swollen lymph nodes, chills, exhaustion, aur khas skin lesions jaise symptoms check karne ki hidayat di gayi hai.
Suspected Mpox patients ko turant designated isolation area mein shift kiya jana chahiye taake doosre patients aur staff ke contact se bacha ja sake. AIIMS Delhi ne AB-7 ward ke beds 33, 34, 35, aur 36 ko is purpose ke liye allocate kiya hai.
Advisory ke mutabiq, ye beds emergency chief medical officer ke recommendation par allocate honge aur medicine department isko manage karega.
Jab koi suspected Mpox case identify hota hai, toh Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) ke officials ko inform karna zaroori hai. Unhe 8745011784 par contact kiya ja sakta hai. IDSP team ko patient ke details, history, clinical findings aur contact information provide karni hoti hai.
Safdarjung Hospital ko Mpox patients ke treatment ke liye designate kiya gaya hai. Suspected cases ko Safdarjung Hospital refer kiya jayega further evaluation ke liye.
AIIMS management ne
ek dedicated ambulance arrange ki hai jo patients ko Safdarjung le jane ke liye use hogi. Emergency staff ko ambulance coordinator ko 8929683898 par inform karna hota hai transfer ke liye.
Strict infection control measures follow karna zaroori hai jab suspected cases ko handle kiya jata hai. Staff ko PPE ka use karna mandatory hai.
Patient details, symptoms, aur referral process ka proper documentation SOP ke mutabiq mandatory hai.
“Delhi ke teen government hospitals, LNJP, GTB aur Baba Saheb Ambedkar ko isolation rooms setup karne ke liye kaha gaya hai suspected aur confirmed Mpox cases ke liye. LNJP ko nodal facility designate kiya gaya hai aur do hospitals standby mein hain,” PTI ko ek senior health department official ne bataya.
Lekin official ne kaha ke panic hone ki zaroorat nahi hai aur government fully prepared hai. “Ab tak koi case nahi hai. Hum poori tarah se alert hain aur situation monitor kar rahe hain,” unhone add kiya.
